Since winning the Emergenza International Band Comp last year, LeBelle has been an unstoppable force making moves both home here in Oz as well as overseas leading up to their Euro tour kicking off in August this year.

LeBelle create a vivid tapestry of haunting mystical ambience, beautiful piano melodies, powerful and catchy hooks, breakdowns with balls topped off with warm three piece vocal harmonies giving the band a rich dynamic and extremely tight sound.

Mixing the atmospheric feel of Massive Attack, lead vocal quirk of Shirley Manson with powerful rock riffs and progressions, they capture a spark of musical genius rarely captured live inviting any audience to a mesmerizing listening experience.

All four members hail as gradates from 'The Griffith University's Conservatorium of Music', which aligned their forces in 2005 binding a solid bond that shines both on stage and in the studio. Their single ‘Spilt Milk’ received regular air play on Triple J and have recently played some of the countries best venues including Melbourne’s Hi Fi, Billboard, Sydney’s Metros Theatre and more. LeBelle launched their debut EP in October 2010 and have been hard at work in the studio writing and recording the full length album which is already getting the right people talking.

Die Band hab ich leider knapp verpasst, aber dafür hatte ich dank denen einer der Festival-Momente, die zeigen, was das Taubertal ausmacht.

Als ich ankam, war grad Wechsel, aber es stand ein ganzer Pulk Leute in Aussie-Flaggen gekleidet vor der Bühne. Und es war nicht zwingend die Generation, die man sich auf dem TTF vorstellt. Ich kam dann mit dem einen ins Gespräch. Das war dann der Pappa vom Drummer (irgendwie witzig, weil mein Pappa war auch Drummer). Jedenfalls sind die mit 10-15 Leuten extra für LeBelle angereist und haben sich gleich ein 3 Tages Ticket geholt. Somit waren 3 Generationen Aussies da, von den Kindern über die Eltern bis zu den Großeltern! Die Älteren sind dann aber doch gegangen, meinem Gesprächspartner hat's aber richtig gefallen. Wir sind dann noch rüber zur Hauptbühne, wo unsere Wege wieder auseinander gingen. Aber trotzdem für die Reisegruppe und die Band! Aussies sind halt doch die lockersten Leute der Welt! (wobei er das über uns auch gesagt hat....)

Genau mit dem hab ich gequatscht. Hab auch Bilder von der ganzen Gruppe gemacht und muss die demnächst mal hochladen.

Das ändert aber nix an meiner Meinung zu dem Thema. Die Rheintalstrecke wär wesentlich wichtiger als der kack Bahnhof. Wobei die Lösung Fernbahnhof am Flughafen und Regiobahnhof überirdisch wo er jetzt ist, eh die bessere Idee wäre. Aber egal. Das Thema wird wo anders behandelt.
